facebook envy: the seventh flaw

if you’re spending lots of time creeping other’s facebooks while loathing, feeling jealous, left out, and sad, then you’re wasting your time. you might as well take those precious minutes of your life and throw them the fuck out. the thing is, i’m guilty of this too, and i know it’s wrong. it’s shallow and self-involved behavior. life shouldn’t be spent competing with jackals and farty chicks that brag on the internet all the time. 

how can i expect to lead a fruitful existence if this is a part of my personality? the energy that i dedicate to facebook envy would be far more beneficial to the world if i put it towards doing something positive and meaningful.

who really cares what our frenemies are doing? fuck em. i know it’s not that easy, though. i think the best way i can attempt to work on this flaw/habit is to catch myself in the act each time (or when i can) and then actively try to engage myself in some other activity. why feed the flames when you can take a big piss on them?
