shurrr: flaw number eight

there’s this thing i do when i want people to shut up and stop talking to me. basically, i answer them with the word ‘sure’. it sounds a little bit more like a fast ‘shurrr’, and it means, i understand what you are telling me, but can you please leave me alone. this is something i do a lot. probably too much. 

i have a hard time concentrating on things and when i’m being nagged by people that won’t go away, i’ve found this tool to be very useful. it does, however, have a tendency to annoy certain individuals close to me. no one likes to be brushed off, ignored, or made to wait.  

the bottom line is that i should overly communicate with these peoples and say something along the lines of, ‘hey, i’m trying to read this shit on the internet, and i’d really like it if this conversation could take place at a time that is more convenient for me.’  

i need to work on being more patient and tolerant of others. 

btw, here’s the rough draft for the new fan letter i wrote in my head this morning:

dear carrot top, 

remember how, for a while, bullying was passe? i’m bringing it back. you look like willow. you look like rocky dennis. 

yesterday i stopped myself from tweeting: “wow! it’s see through stretch pants weather today.” i was then going to add #roastbeef. you’re a comedian. two questions: 1. is that tweet funny? 2. would i be crossing the line too much with that one? i probably shouldn’t ask you questions that require your judgment as it certainly seems as though yours is lacking.  

i apologize if this was mean, but i have one last thing… you know that game ‘kill, fuck, marry’? i play it with people a lot and i LOVE adding you into the equation. i’m sorry to report that every time you get killed, FIREBUSH.
